Acts and Epistles - BIB107

3 credits
The student will read the Acts of the Apostles, Romans, I and II Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians and Colossians at a rate of about two chapters per day. He will discover, record, and share his insights from each chapter. The background and theme of each book is studied, and major biblical themes are traced. The student is exposed to proper principles of biblical interpretation and is required to work with them. The revelation of the Holy Spirit as the Author of the Scriptures is central throughout.



Advanced Ballet Worship Class (written) - ART422

3 credits
This course consists of a video and a workbook which offer the advanced classical dancer a highly technical class with the challenge of incorporating the heart of worship into intricate combinations. This is a required course of the MIMEistry Achievement Program. There are two tests based on the workbook and video. These may be taken at any MIMEistry workshop or at the Dramatic Truth School of Ballet. (written test - 3 cr.; physical test - 10 cr.)



Anatomy of a Business Plan - BUS302
3 credits
The business that fails to plan, plans to fail. If you want to grow your business, you need an effective, up-to-date business plan. It is your key to start-up, maintaining growth, accessing financing and keeping on track. You’ll get a blueprint to steer your company to success and access to capital from lenders and investors. This course is extremely practical, thorough, and easy to understand.



Anointed Preaching - MIN415

This course will teach the student how to get his messages from God and deliver them under the anointing of the Holy Spirit’s power.



Apprenticed to Leadership - EDU102

1 credit
Mentoring or apprenticeship was Jesus’ style of training. He manifested a shepherd’s heart by committing Himself to twelve intense relationships for about a year and a half. After that time, they were to work effectively on their own, utilizing the counsel of the Holy Spirit. In this course we will discuss what is involved in a good mentoring relationship, responsibilities of the mentor and the apprentice, and how one enters and terminates such relationships.

Basics of Christianity - THE101

If the foundations be destroyed what can the righteous do? (Ps. 11:3). This course is a non-technical presentation of the foundations of Christianity. It deals with the basics of the Scriptures, Salvation, Christian Culture, Holy Spirit, Ceremony, Faith, Worship, Healing, our Enemy, Righteousness, Peace, Joy, Prayer, Giving ministry, Heaven, and Hell.



Becoming a Youth Specialist - MIN330

4 credits
This course will be a broad overview of redefining what a Youth Minister really is. How do you become a Youth Specialist? How do you maintain the status of the Specialist? What does it mean that you specialize in reaching and discipling young people of this generation? What are the nuances? NOTE: This course requires the student to apply the principles being studied to an actual youth group. If you are not currently working with a youth group, you will need to develop a relationship with one for the duration of this course.



Beginning Ballet Worship Class - ART322
3 credits
This course offers a video and workbook on the basics of ballet. Ballet has long been recognized as the foundational dance form for all other dance expressions. The beginner will gain a complete understanding of the foundations of classical technique. The student is taken from the very basics through a full year of technical material, with worship at the heart of all that is taught. This is a required course of the MIMEistry Achievement Program. There are two tests based on the workbook and video. These may be taken at any MIMEistry workshop or at the Dramatic

Believer’s Worship I - WOR101

3 credits
In this course, students will discover the priority of worship in God’s economy. They will learn what worship is, how they can become worshipers, and what their responsibilities are as worshipers. The “new song” will be examined, as well as praise in the life of Jesus. Finally, they will learn how to recognize and live in the presence of God through worship.



Believer’s Worship II - WOR302

In this course, we will examine the following subjects as they relate to worship: our call, prayer, music, evangelism, public worship, and taking worship to the streets.

Bible Speaks to Contemporary Issues - THE310

3 credits
In this course we will examine the foundation of Christian ethics. We will study the Scriptures to discover the precepts and principles we are given about such subjects as sex, family, honesty, suicide, abortion, the education of children, welfare, inflation, humanism, and gambling. We will then go one step further to discover the character of God which provides the foundation of the commands. We will learn to apply the Test of Truth and the Evidence of Truth in any situation. Finally, and perhaps of greatest importance, we will learn how to pass our moral standards on to the next generation.



Biblical Dissertation - BIB390

3 credits
Generally the student will take this course during his third year, near the completion of the core courses. In it he will be asked to do a complete scriptural study, discovering what the Bible has to say about the vocation/ministry he is planning to enter. This will give him a Biblical worldview. The student will be trained to do original Bible study utilizing the Greek and Hebrew, by learning to use an Interlinear Greek-English New Testament, a complete concordance, a Bible dictionary, a Greek lexicon, a study Bible, and an expository dictionary. No previous knowledge of Greek or Hebrew is required.

Building Dynamic Teams - MIN211

’...they ordained them elders in every church...’ (Acts 14:23). Biblical precedent indicates that local churches were governed by a team of elders. God never let the rulership of the body rest on the shoulders of one man, knowing that each of us has weaknesses and limitations, and that no one man can completely represent full truth, wisdom and power as Jesus did. This course will help local church leadership function more effectively as a team, honoring the gifts of all. Prerequisites: LEA 103 (required); MIN 210 (recommended). This course will be most useful if you are currently a part of a leadership team.

Catastrophism & Evidences for the Flood - SCI301

This course will introduce you to an apologetic for Biblical creationism and the universality of the Flood described in the book of Genesis. You will consider the re-orientation of pertinent scientific data from the disciplines of hydrology, geology, and archaeology within the framework of Biblical creationism and catastrophism.



Christian Dream Interpretation (Graduate) - REN510
$3 credits
Prerequisite: REN 103 - Communion with God. Throughout the Bible, God has spoken through dreams and visions of the night, and He is still doing so today. In typical Daniel-like fashion, we will learn to hear from God in this way, allowing Him to grant us the interpretation of our dreams. (Numbers 12:6; Acts 2:17)

Christian Heritage of the United States - GOV101

3 credits
The United States is the longest continuous constitutional republic in the history of the world because its constitution is constructed upon biblical principles. ‘The philosophy of the school room in one generation will be the philosophy of the government in the next.’ (Abraham Lincoln) In this course you will discover how central God and Christianity was to the development of America’s strength and longevity, and what has happened since the Bible was removed from the classroom in 1963.



Christian Prophetic Prayer Counseling I - COU310

The purpose of Christian Prophetic Prayer Counseling is to help God’s children be transformed and conformed into the image of Christ. In this two-part course, you will learn the basics of how to minister more effectively by depending on the Holy Spirit to bring forth life-changing knowledge, understanding, wisdom, discernment, anointing, and healing. As you apply the principles you learn, you will receive the ministry of the Holy Spirit in your own life and be more fully equipped to minister His life to the hurting. Church Triumphant - THE208

The church triumphant through the book of Acts. Jesus said, ‘I will build My church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.’ The book of Acts is the story of that church in action and thus a pattern for our lives and ministries today. God is using this study to restore signs and wonders to His church.

God’s Spirit is a ‘Wonderful Counselor’. We will let God speak to our hearts and counsel us about the basic emotional pressures of life. These include anger, doubt, depression, condemnation and inferiority. We will learn to let God replace these with His opposites, as His voice releases His grace within our hearts. Those whom the Son sets free are free indeed.

Counseling Practicum I - COU312

The purpose of this practicum is for you to experience the healing work of the Holy Spirit in your own life in the areas you have studied in COU 310 and COU 311, Christian Prophetic Prayer Counseling I and II. You will gain further understanding of each area, and also become more healed yourself, and therefore better equipped to counsel others. Prerequisite: COU 311 Christian Prophetic Prayer Counseling IINote: Because of the cost involved in this practicum ($700), NSOT will waive the tuition fee for this course

Creative Problem Solving - LEA201

Spirit-born creativity is no accident; it requires purposeful activity. This study will open the doors of your understanding so that the creativity of God can flow through you continuously in ways such as you may have only dreamed. You will examine step-by-step how God progressively fills each of the five senses of your spirit with Himself, until His creative miracle is released into the natural realm.

Creative Writing I - ART220

The Creator God has deposited His creative Spirit within each of His children, and lighted a fire within each one to express that creativity through his own unique personality & gifting. Many people have an urge within them to write, but because of insecurity, the criticism of early teachers, lack of time or training, or a host of other reasons, they have not released that creative urge in a satisfying way. This course is designed to encourage, instruct & liberate those whom the Lord has called to minister through the written word. Whatever you are impelled to write, the Holy Spirit wants to be your Source and your Inspiration.



Creative Writing II - ART221

This course is designed with a twofold purpose: First, it will encourage, instruct and liberate those whom the Lord has called to minister to His body and His world through the written word. Whether you are impelled to write fiction or nonfiction, poems or college textbooks, the Holy Spirit wants to be your Source and your inspiration. In addition, you will explore the relationship between your Christian faith and the arts in general. You will meditate on what the Scriptures say about the arts, and the place of beauty and pleasure in the life of the believer.

Discovering the Blood Covenant - THE302

The purpose of this course is to help the student understand the concept of a blood covenant and how it relates to the covenant God has made for us through Jesus Christ. The student learns the basic blood covenant ritual and how God made it known to Adam, Abraham, Moses, and the prophets as a picture of the blood of the everlasting covenant He made for us with the Lord Jesus Christ.

This course will discuss the vision of what a world class youth group should be like, what should be a part of that vision, how to implement the vision, how to get the young people to buy into that vision, what it means to have a world class youth group as opposed to a ‘struggling to stay alive’ youth ministry, and how to become a world class leader to lead a world class youth group.





Experiencing God in the Small Group - MIN310 (Student Testimonies)

Class times are to be times of experiencing God and sensing the transmission of the life flow of the precious Holy Spirit among the classroom participants. They are to be much more than studies of God. They are to be experiences with God. This course will teach you how to make every class time a time of encounter with the Holy Spirit where each one receives an impartation of the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

Faith, Freedom and Citizenship - GOV105

A study of the Christian and civil government. You will examine God’s created order of governing through delegated authority, biblical principles for constructive citizenship, biblical examples of civil public service, America’s founding documents, legislative and judicial acts of colonial 19th century America, and evaluation of present-day American political process.

This highly experiential course is designed to draw you into a closer relationship with your heavenly Father, in which you have not only a theological understanding of His deep love and affection for you, but you also know it because you have personally felt it. The purpose of this course is to help the student understand the Feasts of the Lord in the Old Testament and how they pointed the Jewish people to Jesus. The student will learn the historical, redemptive, personal, and prophetic aspects of each feast and how to apply each one to a personal walk with God to experience His peace, power, and rest. In this course you will study 57 different aspects of the Person, character and attributes of God. For each, you will read an introduction, prayerfully read three or four pages of appropriate Scriptures, answer study questions, and do some additional research. You will also apply all of this to your everyday life, and memorize various passages of Scripture. You will know God much better when you have finished this course. Option #1: Do the study as part of a group - receive 1 additional credit; Option #2: Initiate and lead the group - receive 1 additional credit.

A look at God’s true plan for women: a plan of equality and release, in the home and in the Church. All the major portions of Scripture dealing with the role of women will be carefully studied. You will study several contemporary books on the subject and apply the truth to your own life.

An in-depth study of the life of Jesus Christ as portrayed by the beloved disciple. Students will study the seven signs John gives proving the divinity of Christ. The life of abiding in spiritual awareness will be examined.

Healing Anointing - REN207

The ministry of Jesus was and is a ministry of salvation for the whole man! When we speak of salvation, we speak not only of forgiveness of sins but also healing, deliverance, cleansing and anything else that pertains to life and godliness. Jesus has come to set the captives free! And because He has poured out His Spirit upon us, we may be ministers of salvation - healing for the spirit, soul and body - through the anointing that rests upon us. This practical course will give you keys to flowing in that anointing of God, lessons which have been learned by those who have gone before you and are now showing you the way.



Helping the Church Become a House of Prayer - REN104

This course will take a look at God’s original plan for His church. It will show that the Bible mandates that the church is to be a house of prayer. This is proven by the life of Jesus Christ and the life of the early church. This course will look at the promises that empowered the early church and motivated them. We will see that prayer brings joy into the house of the church. We will see that prayer meetings should be exciting, exhilarating, instructive, and looked forward to as one of the most important meetings of the church. A plan to help make prayer a priority shall be presented.

The student will read the second half of I Kings and II Chronicles, II Kings, Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther, Haggai, Zechariah, and Malachi at a rate of about two chapters per day. House-Church - THE331

A look at the growing, worldwide house-church movement. How to start and conduct a house-church. How to evangelize the world by a multiplication of simple house-churches. How to Get Through to a Young Person - MIN338

3 credits
This course will discuss the crucial points of how to actually get through to the heart and mind of a teenager. It will include speaking technique, as well as the content of the speaking, and real ministry. We will deal with issues that really matter, how to put sermons together what really impact their lives, and how to lead into ministry at the end of each service.

Increasing the Anointing - REN206 (Student Testimonies)

The key to the successful Christian life is walking and living in the anointing of the Holy Spirit. This course has three emphases: First it is designed to help one become aware of his spirit. All 1400 verses of Scripture that deal with the heart and spirit of man are closely considered with the one supreme objective of learning to sense our spirit and the Spirit of Christ within our spirit. From there we go on to examining the anointing of the Holy Spirit and how the anointing can be increased in one’s life. Finally, we will try to get to know the Holy Spirit as a Person.

Introduction to Church Growth - MIN301

A practical course designed to familiarize the student with the history, theology, and principles of the sometimes criticized Church Growth Movement. A small amount of time will be spent early in the course laying the foundation and understanding the ‘roots’ of the movement. However, the majority of the course will focus on the various principles and methodologies used to remove the barriers and obstacles which hinder a church from achieving the God-given vision for that particular body of believers.



Introduction to Computer - COM101

A basic introduction to computers and computer terminology. Includes an introductory understanding of DOS and Windows operating environments. Designed to help the new computer owner/operator become confident and relaxed when using this great tool.



Introduction to Intercession - INT201

This course introduces you into the Life of Intercession. Subjects include: the task of intercession, pleading your case, identification in intercession and prophetic intercession. This course is a prerequisite to any other course in this school.

An introduction to the nature and purpose of prophetic revelation and its proper function in the Body of Christ. You will be inspired and challenged to be a prophetic person.
